Have wanted to do this for decades. Kate is the name my grandmother wanted for me, but my mother decided otherwise. Maxwell is my great grandmother's and grandmother's surname. Dair is an Irish Gaelic word that means 'oak' or 'oak tree.' The oak has been an inner symbol for my self for 40 years.

It is wonderful to name who I understand myself to be now in my late 50's.
